On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett, former KJR host, is joined by Jim Moore, his former co-host on the radio. They open up the show talking about the Apple Cup and the Go-2-Guy is brimming with confidence! In fact, he thinks the Cougs are going to win by double digits and he’s putting his money where his mouth is with Husky fans.
Why is Jim so confident and he wants to know why Puck is not as confident as he is! They both agree that the Husky defense will have their issues stopping John Mateer on the ground and he’s the ‘X’ factor.
They turn their attention to the Mariners and Cal Raleigh as he continues to have a dominant season. Is there any chance that Cal re-signs with the team? Puck and Jim both agree that it’s not likely and that’s disappointing.
Puck and Jim both shake their head at the latest with Deion Sanders, who instructed the Colorado band not to play the fight songs right after his son, Shedduer Sanders scores a TD so the PA can play his rap song. Both agree that Deion will bolt from Boulder once the season is over.
Lastly, Puck brings up the PGA Tour’s decision to hold their meeting this week with the PIF, which runs LIV and is the Saudi government in New York City the week of 9/11. Just. an absolute tone deaf move by the league.
